The committee organise County, Regional and National competitions within both East & West Sussex, under the auspices of England Fencing. We also organise training days, and represent the County on the Regional Committee.

Eligibility: BFA /England membership cards must be shown on the day. Failure to produce a current membership card may result in your being unable to fence. UIl8s must supply written parent/guardian consent to take part in the competition (Lower age limit 13 years for Sabre, U16 - 12yrs).

Fee: £8 U16 £5 cheques made payable to "Sussex County Fencing Union" to E D Pitman Hon Sec SxCFU 5 Penn Crescent, Ringmer BN8 5HQ If paying by cash please bring correct money.

Format: Competitions will be run with one round of pools followed by D.E.. Should there be insufficient entries the organisers reserve The right to make whatever changes they think fit to ensure the smooth running of the competition.

The organisers Sussex County Fencing Union, the Manager & staff of Ports la de Sports Centre, the Headmaster and Governors of Ports la de Community College and Brighton City Council can accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to persons or property howsoever caused. Fencers must a~ equip and clothe themselves at their own responsibility and risk.
