The committee organise County, Regional and National competitions within both East & West Sussex, under the auspices of England Fencing. We also organise training days, and represent the County on the Regional Committee.

The Chairman is standing down due to moving from the area.
Any nominations (having first ascertained that the nominee is willing to stand) should be made in writing to the secretary, Mrs E Pitman before the meeting.

MENS & WOMENS TEAM FOIL CHAMPIONSHIP WILL FOLLOW THE MEETING

Check-in: 10.20 for 10.30

Venue: as above

Entry Fee: £24 per team ( Team Captain responsible) Cheques payable to Sussex County fencing Union.

Teams: 3 fencers per team, who must sign in at check-in. All fencers must be BFA members, and show their membership card. No membership will be issued on the day.

Trophies: First & Second place only.

Refreshments: Sports Centre facilities may be available for a limited period, but not confirmed.

The organisers, Sussex County fencing Union, its officers, Brighton & Hove council, Portslade Sports Centre and Community College can eccept no responsibility for loss of equipement, damage to persons or property, however sustained. Fencers must arm & equipe and clothe themselves at their own responsibility & risk. It is understood thatany fencer under the age of 18 has parental or guardian permission to fence and take part, accepts these conditions.

The competition will be run in accordance with BFA safety guidlines. Full kit must be worn and plastrons are obligatory. The new rules re equipement are now in force.
